This summer, a group of finance and marketing students from the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business had the opportunity to engage with business leaders from more than 30 companies in New York City. This immersive experience allowed students to gain valuable insights into the workings of various industries, including finance, marketing, and technology.
During their visit, students participated in interactive sessions, where they learned about the challenges and opportunities that businesses face in today's fast-paced environment. They had the chance to network with professionals, ask questions, and receive mentorship from experienced leaders. The trip not only enhanced their understanding of business operations but also provided a platform for students to discuss real-world applications of their academic knowledge.
The exposure to diverse business models and innovative practices inspired students to think critically about their future careers. By connecting classroom theories with real-world experiences, the students left New York City with a renewed sense of purpose and direction in their professional journeys.
