I flew economy with Ethiopian Airlines and Qatar Airways on a trip to East Africa. From the food to the seats, here's how they compared.
My journey began with Ethiopian Airlines, known for its extensive network across Africa. The in-flight service was commendable, with friendly staff eager to assist. The meals offered a taste of Ethiopian cuisine, featuring flavorful options that were both satisfying and unique. However, the seating was somewhat cramped, making the long flight feel even longer.
On the other hand, Qatar Airways provided a more luxurious experience in economy class. The seats were more spacious, allowing for a greater sense of comfort during the lengthy journey. The in-flight entertainment system was impressive, offering a wide selection of movies and shows to pass the time. The food was also a highlight, with a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes.
In conclusion, while both airlines have their merits, I would choose Qatar Airways for future travels due to its superior comfort and overall experience.
