A Southwest Florida woman is facing multiple felony charges after detectives unraveled a scheme involving stolen business cards and fraudulent purchases. Renee Lynn Companioni, 45, was taken into custody following a detailed investigation by local authorities.
The incident began when a victim reported that a business card had been stolen from a vehicle. Detectives soon discovered that the card was allegedly used to make several unauthorized purchases at various retail locations. Through investigative work, including the review of transaction records and surveillance footage, authorities identified Companioni as the suspect.
She now faces serious charges, including Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Grand Theft.
