Last year, the city of Bluefield welcomed 30 new businesses, many of which were smaller establishments, according to the annual report of the Bluefield Economic Development Authority. Among these newcomers, six represented the food industry, showcasing a diverse range of culinary options for residents and visitors alike.
Additionally, the retail sector saw the introduction of four new businesses, reflecting a growing demand for local shopping experiences. The service industry also flourished, with eight new service-oriented businesses enhancing the community's offerings.
