Over the course of a year, I meticulously documented my daily alcohol intake in a journal. This exercise was intended to help me understand my drinking habits better and to ensure I stayed within the recommended limits for moderate consumption. However, to my surprise, I found that I often exceeded these guidelines without even realizing it.
Despite my intentions to drink sensibly, there were numerous occasions when my alcohol consumption crept above the healthy thresholds. This revelation was both eye-opening and concerning, as it highlighted the gap between my perception of moderation and the reality of my drinking behavior.
The experience taught me the importance of self-awareness and honest reflection regarding alcohol consumption. Keeping a journal not only made me more mindful of my habits but also encouraged me to make more informed choices moving forward. As I continue this journey, I aim to maintain a healthier relationship with alcohol and prioritize my well-being.
