BUFFALO, N.Y. - Shell Fab Countertops is organizing a bottle and can drive this weekend to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Western New York. The event aims to help the nonprofit grant more wishes for children with critical illnesses in the local area.
The drive will take place at the business's location in West Seneca. Community members are encouraged to drop off returnable bottles and cans, with all proceeds going directly to Make-A-Wish WNY. Organizers say every donation, no matter how small, adds up and makes a difference in a child's life.
"We are thrilled to be able to give back in this way," said a representative from Shell Fab Countertops. "It is a simple way for people to help, and it supports a cause that means so much to families in our community."
Make-A-Wish WNY has granted hundreds of wishes over the years, providing experiences that bring hope and joy to children facing serious medical challenges. The bottle and can drive is open to the public, and the business hopes to see a strong turnout from neighbors and local supporters.
